ahhh. i love horses. my dad used to retire harness racers and we would ride them around the track bareback. his favourite horse, Whiskey Jersey, got 2 cans of beer a day - that horse was awesome!the smile on the girl is sheer delight while the horse seems to know that he is giving such pleasure. horses are really smart.thanks for putting a smile in my heart today, Dear Duke! your friend, kymber
Kymber, Animals do seem to have a 6th sense it seems. Thanks my friend.
What a great pic. Wish I knew the story behind it.
Sharon, glad you enjoyed, I wish I knew the story as well. Thanks.
Horses have this unique way of bringing us into the moment (now) by sharing their heart, which is powerful in itself. Horses are spiritual, they move us into alignment with life. What a touching picture, thank you for sharing.
Sandy,it does seem they feel more than we give credit for. Thanks.
I laugh about my "I don't ride horses and they don't bite me" as there is a long story about that with my family. My cousin L. raised horses from childhood, she now has her own little ranch up in the mountains of the West. I did better on the dirt bikes than the horses, but I loved the animals. I have artwork of wild mustangs pretty much all through the house. That's an incredible picture and I'm sure the story behind it is as heartwarming.
Brigid, I'm sure there is a neat story behind this Picture. I used to enjoying riding horses many years ago but have not for over 30 years. Thanks.
