You Think ?

Been real busy lately, it seems like projects come out of the wood work at times, of course
the big news is the missing Malaysia  airline. It is painfully obvious that there was some definite ill intentions involved in the disappearance, I do not think the intent was to crash the plane (even though it may have) I kind of hope it did crash because I hate to think what it may be used for if repainted and loaded with nuclear bombs or something like nerve gas. The focus is now on the pilots and the Malaysian government is handing out bad information every day.
Oh by the way, did you know the dominant religion in Malaysia is Islam, anyone see a problem here ?
I did hear that since Russia invaded  the Ukraine 0bama told Vladimir Putin he was a bad boy and his travel was restricted so maybe the Malaysian airline was sold to Putin, you know kinda like his own version of Air Force One..... hey my theory is as good as anyone's.
I think I need to go aggravate Stephen for a while.

  3. What ever the final out come is its not going to be good for the traveling public. I am so glad that my days working at the airport and working for an airline are done.

    2. We haven't flown since we went to a funeral in 2003. My husband got to watch helplessly for a nice long time, with kids aged 1 and 6, while I was segregated into a clear cubicle in the middle of the security area, in full view of everyone. I had set off a metal detector.

I waited and waited, with lots of people looking at me, and then got to stand spread-eagle while I was thoroughly wanded inside the cubicle for all to see. Turned out metal in the soles of my shoes had set it off.

I was humiliated, and my husband was furious (but did his best not to show it until we were clear of the airport). His pronouncement that we were not flying again was absolutely welcomed by me. I hated flying, anyway... that little experience just made it even better. Perhaps we will miss some funerals. I'm sorry, but oh well.

  5. Ann Barnhardt's blog has a link with some interesting information to what occurred, but its still hearsay. Probably makes more sense then everything else the Infoweb is saying though, Malaysia is a pretty hardline country. Isn't that the country that kid back in the 90's got caned and everyone got excited about corporal punishment being used ?

  6. I've been watching all this in a peripheral fashion. I am reaching a point where only things that effect me directly seem to be note worthy. That is probably a natural function of old age, because I have always been very careful to keep up with events in the past.
