I made it home after a few days away.
Little towns are pleasant and offer a chance to get away from the bustle for a while. You can always tell a little town because they don't have the money to replace their police cruisers quite as often, anyway I need to check around the blogs as I had no internet service for the last few days.
Hope you enjoy the rest of the weekend.
Man, I love that old police cruiser! How cool is that?
ReplyDeleteHermit Jim, I thought it was cook as well. It is neat to see old stuff like this from time to time.
DeleteThat picture just looks like Opie and Aunt Bee will be walking by it anytime.
ReplyDeleteJMD, my thoughts as well. Thanks.
DeleteAh, a 1951 Chevy. Believe it or not my mother owned one and it was the first car I ever drove...at the age of five. I was tall for my age. Really.
ReplyDeleteI think it would be neat to fix up one of these with a more modern drive train but keep it original on the outside. It would get a lot of stares doing over 70 mph on the interstate.
DeleteThat's a cool old cruiser. I remember those!
ReplyDeleteRev Paul, It is cool, and the only communications they had was an old tube 2 way radio.
DeleteWelcome back.
ReplyDeleteThanks Senior, looking forward to camping next weekend.
DeleteSo am I, weather should be great.
DeleteNeat cruiser, and there is an entire national club devoted just to those old cruisers!!!
