Good to see....

While traveling in Virginia  I saw one of these license plates, apparently there five other states Arizona, Missouri, Oklahoma, South Carolina and Texas are also offering this design as well.

I hope other states follow suite, I would buy one if available to me.

  1. I see them all over the place here and more everyday. I've thought about it, but I just hate paying the government any more money than they already get from me.

    1. I assuming they cost more, they may not be vanity plates here.

  2. You can get them in Georgia, but "vanity plates" and "special plates" cost $75.00 more than the state issue plates. That' a lot.

    1. Harry, Matt, In Florida these kind of plates cost about $35 extra HOWEVER, the extra money goes to the organization which 'sponsored' it like a university or charity etc.
      BTW last I saw Florida leads all states in number of vanity type plates with well over 100.

  3. Just the standard issue Arizona plate has a cactus on it. Must cost more and as expensive as the plates, registration and title is we must have not considered it.

    1. If the extra money went to a patriot organization it would be a good thing.

  4. I would get one here in MN. I have seen a few homes out in the rural areas with the Gadsden Flag flying. I should get one of those and a American Flag for my house.

    1. Old NFO, I thought of painting the standard plate yellow and putting a Gadsden sticker on it.

  6. Hey Duke;

    I will check on a plate like that for GA, I have the "Wildlife" sponsored tag with the eagle and flag on it. Might change it;) I liked your header...I remember those days....the smoky haze was everywhere, I would see the sun trying to break through the haze, but it hung around....until most of the wells were capped. The same liberals that blasted Bush, gave Saddam political cover for blowing the wells during his withdrawal out of Kuwait.

  7. Duke buddy - i would love to have that license plate! but i don't think you can get them in canada! plus we have our volunteer fire department license plate on our truck. and, of course, we have the MacKenzie tartan around the vfd plate. we're pretty crazy about our scottish backgrounds here.

    your friend,
    kymber

    1. Kymber, probably not as recognizable a tag in Canada so demand would be lower I guess.

  9. I think they are about 10 bucks here in Virginia. The State has changed a lot since I grew up - too many libs in No. Va. but there is still hope. Several years ago in the Valley you'd see a lot of democrat signs - now it's the other way around (not that the repubs are much better).
