Just Shoot Me

This is the kind of trash I was talking about in my blog yesterday, Google will honor the birthday today of some Mexican painter who was born 125 years ago who nobody has heard of, or cares enough to spit on his grave yet will ignore Pearl Harbor Day.
Also note, last year they did not honor Christmas Day either.
I have more respect for snakes than the worthless human debris that run Google.
This is a pet peeve of mine.

Who wants to bet ?

Would you trust this face.
A federal judge sentenced impeached Illinois Gov. Rod Blagojevich to 14 years in prison. Blagojevich was convicted on 18 corruption charges, including the scheme to peddle the vacated Senate seat of Barack Obama.

Who wants to bet me this piece of trash won't be pardoned on Obama's last day in office................anybody at all ?????

You Know What Ticks Me Off.

Today is Pearl Harbor Day, one of the most 'turning point' days in our history. If you go to Google's search page there is no remembrance of it. All through the year they will commemorate the birthday of some obscure person who died over 100 years ago and wrote something or painted something nobody ever heard off and yet they ignore Pearl Harbor Day, makes me so mad. Oh well maybe nobody really cares anymore.................

I'm curious, has anyone ever seen a 'Pearl Harbor Survivor' tag like the one shown here on a Toyota or Honda ???? (I know you have never seen one on a Mitsubishi, they made a lot of Japanese planes)

Remember Pearl Harbor. Those who forget and fail to learn from history will be doomed to repeat it, or did we repeat it on 9-11 ?

Pistol Malfunction Clearance

Here is a short video from Clint Smith on Pistol Malfunction Clearance. It is not new information just a refresher course on what we may do already. He also has a way to make it simple to understand. Another point to understand, many times we tend to think a malfunction is a flaw in the weapon and that is not the case most of the time. It could be dirt, lack of lube, defective ammo, operator error etc.
Anyway enjoy the video, I's always good to be reminded of basic drills.

Where's a Gas Chamber When You Need It.

In the Military we all get Gas Chamber training in Boot Camp. The first time you encounter it you don't know what to expect. I also learned that I had to do it more than once.....in fact many more times. You see for troops trained in the field for CBR (Chemical, Biological and Nuclear) hazards, we had to go through it with all our MOPP (mission orientated protective posture) gear at least every 2 years as well as training in the field every year.

The gas which was used was CS gas and believe me it was potent stuff.  I can't say I enjoyed it but in over 21 years I did not fear it. I did notice one interesting thing about CS gas, It WILL cure a head cold or any other sinus problem you may have, that I PROMISE. Now it is not a fun cure but I assure you it will drain your sinus all the way to you toenails. You will blow more snot, flem and mucus out of your system than you thought possible and it wont take days to get over it. One good deep breath of gas and you whole system will feel like it will turn inside out, you will gag and cough till you think you spit your lungs out. It burns your eyes and they drip with tears, your nose will run and long drips will reach all the way to the ground, and it lasts about 15 minutes.
Many times I had gone through this training in the winter when I had a cold and or flu like symptoms and it worked miracles.

I thought about it this last week as I have been battling this cough and cold how I wish I could go through a gas chamber one more time, I know that sound extreme to some but (and maybe disturbing to others) but for about 15 minuets of distress and it would be over. I could have a cold shower clean off (never use hot water after doing this, another story) and feel 100% again. Trust me it works.

Maybe I will open up a resort one day to cure the cold and flu. Wonder how many people would trust me.

Cold Camp

It has turned cold here today, and I don't feel too well, still getting over the 'bug' I had last weekend. I thought about going over to Stephens place and sharing the love but he would kick me out.
For those who have been following the story of my Mother in Law who was beaten, she had to go back into hospital with some stomach problems, doesn't appear too serious but she keeps getting set-backs.
Stay safe friends.

28 1445 Zulu Nov 11

I got back into town late last night , had a good weekend (although I was very sick Sat night) I will write more about it later. I was scanning the blogs early this morning and came across a good read on  Survival Blog about AR-15's It discusses the brand name AR's as compared to no name brands, I agree with his reasoning and it has been my experience as well....anyway worth checking out if you haven't seen it.
