I Don't Think I Can Take Much More

Sometimes I get so ticked off, I have expressed this before but I can't for the life of me understand why Google is so bent on being Anti-American or Anti-Christian. They routinely ignore Christian holidays and National events and yet will honor the birthday some Mexican goat herder who died of aids over 100 years ago.
Today is a good example of their "In your face, we hate America"
Today is the anniversary of "D Day", without a doubt one of the most important days in our fight to stay free (and the freedom of the whole world for that matter)

So what does Google think is the most important event this day in history to honor on their home page?
The 79th anniversary of the drive in movie theater.
I'm done.........just shoot me.

  1. Really, don't let it get to you....I'm serious, take it easy...Google laughs. They sit back and probe for your weakness...have they found it. WE remember...and my friend, that's all that counts.

  2. Just head over to Stephens place, wash your cup, and drink some coffee. You'll feel better.

  3. People don't get it, but don't let them get you down. Matt is right, grab some coffee and spend time with the people who do get it.

  7. One of my calenders didn't even have D Day on it!! My mother was stationed in England on D Day...I have a V-mail that she sent her folks about it. I am so with you Duke, people are forgetting and/or deliberately not recognizing those that fought for our country in WWII.

  8. CottonLady, it is sad but I guess a sign of the times, I bet most kids don't even learn about it in school anymore.
