New Project

I've been working on a design for a new gun to build.  It's a 3 shot, 50 BMG revolver. Now all I have to do is find a  sucker .....ah...volunteer to test fire it.

It seems everyone wants the biggest and baddest, this might be it.

  4. I dont mean to change the subject, but I was at the most crowded gun show I have ever seen down here in Texas.
I guess everyones in panic mode buying big boxes of ammo, sporter rifles of all types.
Most the vendors that sell AR upppers and other stuff were short on inventory and had inventory backordered.
No one was willing to nogociate on prices of mags etc. Prices were up since the last local gun show on many items.

another panic like that of '08.

  7. Lemme think: Lock elbow, break elbow. Don't lock elbow, break forehead. ... ... Gimme a minute, there's gotta be an answer.

  9. You need to get some .50 BMG shot-shells designed for that.

  10. There is going to only a tiny fraction of the powder burning, so maybe it won't kick too bad? LOL

Of course there is going to be a 30' flame coming out of the barrel.

    1. True, even with a fast burning powder the barrel would be too short.

  11. Before any of you break your hand, there is a video out there called the 60. Caliber handgun, chambered for 600 nitro express. No one can handle 1 shot, and keep the gun in hand. It is 9.4 times more powerfull than a 30.06 rifle round. I'll try to find it on youtube or somewhere.
