I am Liberal

Why is it we let the liberal, pinko, tree hugging,dope smoking, bed wetters set the meaning for words and phrases.

I think we should take some words back from the liberals, here is a start.
I am Liberal because I believe in liberty, I don't think government should control our lives. I am liberal because I have an open mind and can think for myself, I have developed critical thinking, I can read and decipher facts and not have my mind clouded by others narrow views, this is almost the exact opposite of what 'liberals' claim to be because even in the face of facts they will say stuff like "well anyway it's just not fair" or "I just feel it is wrong" or more often they just plain ignore facts and decide not to believe them because it does not fit their agenda.
I am also Pro Choice, I choose to be free, I choose not let government decide my fate. I want to choose what kind of car to drive regardless of how many miles to the gallon it gets, I want to choose what type of gun I want and how many round of ammunition it will hold. I choose to educate my kids the way I want free of government intervention. I choose not to have government force me to buy health insurance. I choose to uphold the Constitution of the United States and not abide by all the unconstitutional laws they impose on us.
 Government hates free people because they loose their power, they prefer 'slaves' who they can control. Government suckers us into thinking we are free but really we are only 'free' as far as their chain will let us go.
Some may think this view is a little extreme but why is it government and even the IRS target free thinkers like the Tea Party, or gun groups, or home schoolers, or survivalists etc. The reason is they don't want free people, free people don't ask permission from government.
I do not ask permission from government.

This is getting a little strange

I don't know what to think about anything anymore.

 I know the left wing control freaks have no soul and I know they will stop at nothing to forward their agenda. Over the years they have failed to bring about the destruction of the Second Amendment so "Shazam" we have Sandy Hook  shooting.  The NRA and the rest of us point out that these "gun free zones" are worthless and if guns are so evil then why do you never see a killing like that at a gun show or even areas where people are known to carry. We also point out the best defense is being well trained and know how to use you weapon.
So what do you know........we now have a Navy Seal (undoubtedly one of the best trained weapons experts in the world) killed at a gun range, where everyone is armed and then the shooter walks away (however he is eventually caught)

This just seems to all  be a little too convenient for the bed wetters.
PS, if you want some really thought provoking stuff go over to YouTube and look at all the videos about Sandy Hook that claim it is a hoax, I promise you will be scratching your head in disbelief.
Not saying I believe any of it but just saying.

No Joke... The Real Reason.

I (and many others) have touched on this before but it bears repeating for those who either haven't heard or don't believe yet, the extreme left understands more than you think. We like to joke about liberals believing that a 'gun free zone' will protect them or thinking that if guns are illegal all criminals will turn them in. We try and point out how you can't punish law abiding people for crimes or potential crimes of others but they get all this, they understand it fully.
The socialists know that an armed person is a free person, they are a secure person, they are an in control person and they don't need government for their protection and security and this grates on them because they rely on government and want everyone else to as well. I am really going to step in it here but generally speaking liberals are not strong people at least not emotionally, not to say they don't have emotions but they don't stand on strong principles generally, they are not normally brave souls and have to fabricate their strength (John Kerry come to mind)
Think of people you know who are strong and have principles as opposed to those who are morally weak with almost no principles (Hollywood)
An interesting side note however is when Hollywood wants someone to play the part of a tough guy hero they get usually get someone who has that in their character like Chuck Norris, Tom Selleck, Clint Eastwood, Charlton Heston, John Wayne etc.

This brings me to my point, Liberals and most politicians want control, they don't care if criminals still have guns because criminals don't want to remove them from power and they can put criminals in prison eventually. You see they want to rule over everything because they are god and know best. They want no opposition and if guns are outlawed or at least guns that threaten them then they have control and in the case of a ban if we don't give them up  then we are criminals as well and can be locked away in prison so either way they win, problem solved, this is why they don't care that gun control won't work because it works perfectly for their purposes. You see we think we can reason with them because we think they want to keep children safe or make the world a peaceful place and they will throw out stupid statements like, "we believe in the Second Amendment and don't want to remove your right to hunt or protect your home" because Bambi doesn't threaten them and dead criminals are one less headache for them but if your gun can legally leave your house with you then they are threatened.  Their ultimate goal is control and with control comes wealth and power.
That is the real reason for gun control and the EXACT reason the founding fathers wrote the Second Amendment.

Pt. 2 Gun ban, what may happen

I read a lot of blogs, news, history and I get emails and there is a lot of speculation about a possible gun ban and how it would go down and what the reaction would be. I could tell some did not think by blog yesterday was serious and it was partially poking fun but bottom line is nobody has a clue exactly what will happen.
I have no doubt that the left seeks to delete the Second Amendment from the Constitution. I also try not to get too caught up in a lot of hype but use past history to get a feel for where we are headed.
I do think there is a lot of hype and as much as I despise the liberals for "not letting a good crisis go to waste" there are also those who seek to profit from a situation like this. You have all received the emails telling you all your guns will be banned by next month if you don't send them $29.95 (or any other amount) for them to fight it or to send a fax to your congressman.
Don't get me wrong I am 100% against ANY and ALL gun laws they are unconstitutional and should be repealed  but lets take a look at past history.
1934, the National Firearms Act heavily regulated and registered fully auto weapons
Gun Control Act of 1968,  it stopped the ordering of modern weapons through the mail among other things. Interesting note this was a big reform and a backlash to the Kennedy assassination in 1963, it took 5 years to hash this out.
Brady Handgun Act, 1993 this included the requirement to do background checks for handgun purchases.
Federal Assault Weapons Ban 1994-2004, banned high cap magazines, and evil features like folding stocks, bayonet lugs and threaded muzzles.
In each of these cases there was complaining from those effected but I did not hear or read about widespread uprising so with more sheeple today than ever before I wonder what it would really be like.
After 0bama was first elected in 2008 there was a massive scare and gun sales went through the roof and he had control of both the House and Senate and could have banned all weapons like Australia did but nothing happened because I believe there was not enough votes even within the Democrat party to do it and I still don't think they have the votes to get a wide sweeping ban especially considering the Democrats don't control the House. Just my gut feeling.
 An all out ban on weapons would be a nightmare to enforce. To get an idea, the drug war is a huge problem, just think how bad it would be if there was actually a constitutional amendment that said "The right of the people to have and use drugs shall not be infringed"

Sure solution, no joke.

Yesterday I was making light of the governments ideas to stop future school shootings but I propose a serious solution.
We have thousands of military veterans who need jobs, with minimal extra training we could station 3 or 4 armed guards at every school.
 I'm not talking about a pudgy guard with a 9mm but  battle trained soldiers with a AR15's, and make them highly visible. This idea is being used in Israel and you won't see  a school shooting there.
Talk about a 'win-win' situation, we solve a problem and give a boost to returning vets who need work, you see these cowards who prey on the weak, helpless and unarmed do so because their victims are weak, helpless and unarmed but armed guards/troops would solve this.
I can just hear some left wing bed wetter saying "but what about some crazy guard with PTSD going nuts" The answer would be to screen all applicants but also by having 3 or more at each school it would prevent something like that happening. I know this is a drastic measure but we have created a society where these measures are needed and this would work, guaranteed. 
Anyone who wants to argue with this 'fix' really doesn't want to solve the problem and doesn't mind seeing more dead children they just want to ban guns, and we all know which path the government will take.

Shootings, who do we blame ?

The recent school shooting in Connecticut was indeed a tragedy, I can't fathom the grief the parents have. You know many of them have a Christmas tree and presents already wrapped under it's branches for some of these children. I know Christmas morning for them will never be the same for the rest of their life.
The most asked question is who or what do we blame?  Some blame the gun, mostly because they have an agenda to disarm the American public, which is fairly stupid when you think about it. With that logic we could blame bad police shootings on the gun as well or maybe wars (although some do that) but we have been fighting wars and killing long before guns came along.
Some blame God, which is absurd when you think we as a society have kicked God out of every aspect of public life  like schools, government, public property etc.  So we ask why would someone do this ? many will blame his upbringing and all kinds of social issues, some which may factor in to a degree but I believe we have raised and bred a whole generation of people who are taught via government schools, TV, movies etc that there is no moral absolutes and that we are only responsible for ourselves and we should do what makes us happy and seek imitate gratification if needed. When this is accomplished in a person they essentially become no different than an animal, they will prey on the weak and helpless with no regard for anyone else.
I do however believe as hard as someone may try to act as if they are no different than animals something clicks at some point and they realize they do have a soul thus the reason some commit suicide after such a horrendous crime because you never see a lion commit suicide after killing a baby goat. 
 John Adams said in 1798  "Our Constitution was made only for a moral and religious people. It is wholly inadequate to the government of any other."  
Maybe we as a society need to start putting down the "animals", just a thought.

School Shooting, really going out on a limb.

I, like all of you were sickened and saddened by the recent school shooting in Connecticut and my heart goes out to the families of those children.

 I have never been a big conspiracy theorist but I firmly believe that the hard core left wing, socialist, communists have no soul. They will stop at NOTHING to forward their agenda, a few children is a acceptable sacrifice to pay for their goal of total control through the disarming of the American public. Having said that I do not doubt that this tragedy could have been engineered for maxim effect because lets face it a mall shooting does not cause large support for gun bans, a theater shooting did not do it, a high school shooting failed to bring about the needed outrage but an elementary school might just do it. Those who wish to control the United States have to deal with a pesky little clause called the Second Amendment, if it were not for that I have no doubt guns would be outlawed here or as difficult to obtain as they are in England or Australia.

Maybe this was not a evil plot by the anti-gun crowd but at the very least the left wing politicians have publicly stated they will not let a "good tragedy go to waste" which in itself is despicable and proves they have no soul and no redeeming qualities. I also lament the fact I feel the need to voice this opinion in the wake of this tragedy however when dealing with the likes of 0bama and the liberal Democrats we need to fight fire with fire.
 I also have no qualms in saying after 0bama gave his little teary speech and went back to his cronies they were giving each other 'high fives' knowing they had been handed a golden opportunity to push their anti-gun agenda further. If you think this is a little harsh look back through history to the narcissistic control freaks like Hitler,  Saddam Hussein, Mao Tse Tung, Stalin, Lenin etc, they all had no qualms in seeing innocent people slaughtered for their own agenda and they all had the ability to gather public support to a degree. Kinda makes Home Schooling look more attractive doesn't it.
Go ahead tell me I am totally heartless, uncaring, cruel and out of touch.

Liberals and Guns.

Ever wonder why Liberals are so against guns, I mean owning a gun does not make you a killer any more that owning a fork makes you fat (OK bad example maybe it does contribute to it) but you get the point.
A killer could use a baseball bat or a car to kill but you you don't find support for banning you driving to ball games.  You see it really is not about the guns, it is about control. If the government has the guns they have control, and they want liberal government to have the control that is why they are so anti-war when conservatives are in control but how many anti-war demonstrations have you seen in the last four years?
Don't EVER get sucked into believing they are worried about the general safety of us overall. They are worried gun owners may one day foil their plans to control everything, make no mistake about it.
